Welcome Aboard!

  • The Dreaded Paperwork

    • As soon as P.A.C.E. receives your completed Employment Forms, including the Client Site Information Form, a P.A.C.E. Contracts Administrator will:

      • Contact you to confirm the information that you have submitted;

      • Contact your client to set up the client-vendor relationship.

    • Your dedicated Division Administrator will:

      • Send to you the requisite sign-up packages for P.A.C.E.'s retirement plan and group insurances;

      • Walk you through the entire process of Getting Started With P.A.C.E.

  • Your First Day On The Job

    • Generally speaking, your first day of employment with P.A.C.E. is the day you start billing your consulting services through P.A.C.E.

  • Your Job Title and Job Description/Responsibilities

    • Job Title: Your job title within P.A.C.E. is Division Manager. However, you can give yourself whatever title you want in your dealings with clients. For example, you could put Grand Exalted PooBah of Big Projects on your P.A.C.E. business card, but that title is already taken.

    • Job Discription/Responsibilities: As a P.A.C.E. Division Manager, you oversee and manage the day-to-day operation of your division. Of course, your personal Division Administrator will handle all of the tedious back-office administrative chores so that you don't have to.

    • Specifically, your job responsibilities as a P.A.C.E. Division Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:

      • Market your consulting services to prospective clients.

      • Decide which clients to work with.

      • Approve contract terms and make modifications.

      • Set consulting rates.

      • Determine work schedule.

      • Deliver quality consulting services to clients.

      • Oversee your division’s operating account, including division reserves, payroll, benefits, retirement plan, reimbursed expenses and direct expenses.

      • Coordinate with your Division Administrator in carrying out the above functions.

  • Termination From P.A.C.E.

    • Continuity of your employment and your group benefits is a key feature of P.A.C.E., and we look forward to a long term relationship with all of our Division Managers. Nevertheless, it may be necessary on rare occations to terminate the employer-employee relationship.

    • Either you or P.A.C.E. may unilaterally terminate the employment relationship at any time and without prejudice by notifying the other party in writing.

    • All company benefits cease upon termination, at which time P.A.C.E. will generate a final payroll out of the balance in your division account after all division liabilities have been paid.

    • You should discuss any plans you may have for an extended vacation or other scheduled down-time with your Division Administrator.

    • Upon termination you may apply for continuation of group benefits that are covered by COBRA.

    • We encourage and welcome you to reapply for employment with P.A.C.E. at any time.
