- The P.A.C.E. Service Fee is 6% of Collected
Revenues
- If you are an independent contractor, P.A.C.E. recommends
that you increase your standard billing rate by 6% to cover
the modest management fee. Most clients expect
the employer of record to "bump" the billing rate,
especially since it is the client that usually insists on
third-party intervention. P.A.C.E.'s management fee is generally
much less than the typical pass-through fees charged by ordinary
staffing firms.
- If you are a W-2 contractor who has used contract employment
agencies as your employer of record, you will appreciate that
the P.A.C.E. management fee plus the employer's share of actual
payroll taxes is generally much less than an agency's cut
of the billing rate, which typically averages 35% or more.
- If you are a small business owner, you will appreciate that
the P.A.C.E. management fee is very economical, compared with
paying the salaries and overhead costs to maintain HR, payroll
servicing, and benefits administration in-house.
- If you are a disfranchised employee (i.e., your employer
offers minimal, if any, benefits), your employer will appreciate

- Note: The minimum management fee is $120 per
invoice, which corresponds to a minimum invoice of $2000.
